Yes, this is a plain pound cake but it is my Grandmother Grindstaff's (G.R.) recipe. I remember watching her as she make this cake and knowing that one day I would be able to cook like her! We hope it's as good as G.R.'s! We love it sliced, buttered, broiled and topped with berries and cream.
